Who We Are
The Oncology Massage Center was founded in 2021 by Kristen M. Galamaga, LMT (FL MA30858), a licensed massage therapist with over two decades of professional experience. Kristen has dedicated her career to helping individuals manage pain, reduce stress, and improve their overall well-being through her skilled, compassionate touch, especially those facing the challenges of cancer.
Kristen earned her license in 2000 and began her work in oncology massage in 2001 with the Baptist Health South Florida healthcare system. She first served patients at South Miami Hospital, and later became one of the founding massage therapists at the Miami Cancer Institute (MCI), where she remained until 2021. Her time at MCI allowed her to support hundreds of patients, working closely with medical teams and witnessing firsthand the power of integrative care.
Drawing from her extensive experience in both clinical and private settings, Kristen established the Oncology Massage Center to offer a calm, professional environment focused on the unique needs of people affected by cancer. She believes in treating the whole person—body, mind, and spirit—and in meeting each client exactly where they are in their healing journey.
At the Oncology Massage Center, patients and their loved ones can expect thoughtful, individualized care grounded in both clinical knowledge and heartfelt compassion.
